Jesus is called the Prince of Peace.

Which pictures peace to you more:

friday apology… “new year resolutions”

Today we apologize to “New Year Resolutions”:

because I need to change things in my life.

because I’ve gotten off track in these areas.

because I’m not content.

2008…

What good memories do you have from 2008?

What bad memories do you have from 2008?

How did you grow closer to Christ in 2008?

What pearls of wisdom did you learn in 2008?

Thoughts on 2008?

What will 2009 be like for you?

my resolution

friday apology…”Christmas Lights”

today I need to offer a sincere apology to all the Christmas lights in my house.

You see at times I’ve found myself sitting in a darkened room being warmed by the glow they radiate, which is not a bad thing…what is bad is when I’ve let the “Christmas Holiday” or “my memories” or “the good feelings” outshine the most pure and only reason for this season.  There is nothing wrong with a cup of eggnog while listening to a Bing Crosby album, singing carols, wrapping presents, while wearing my favorite sweater…but dare I dampen why this thing exists?

Sorry to Christmas lights and everything I’ve even for a moment found comfort in that is not my King.

Merry Christmas

This year we celebrated the holiday with…

“Who is Jesus?”

How do you answer that?

Not to Get too Spiritual

Why are we afraid of getting too spiritual?  We often apologize for it.  What do you mean when you say that?
